We will be holding a ninja camp for kids aged 5-11 years old on Sunday, March 31, on the important topic of Dealing with Bullies.

This camp will help teach children the verbal, emotional, psychological and physical skills to deal with bullies. Topics to be covered are:

Ninja postures: simple and safer ways to stand when faced with potential conflict.

Voice tactics: say the right thing, in the right way, at the right time to alert others that you need help and send a message to bullies.

How to fall safely: falling unarmed is a life skill every child (and adult) show know.- Dealing with verbal attacks: words can hurt, but not if you know how to respond and how not to respond.

Ninja striking: how to strike hard (even when you are small).

Ninja targets: learn where to strike to increase your chances of success.

Defending against the six most common physical attacks: pushes/shoves, straight punches, hook punches, one-handed grabs, two-handed grabs and headlocks.

Ninja cool/Ninja calm: the stress of being bullied affects children 24 hours a day. These ninja breathing exercises can help kids’ calm themselves.
